Boulder Gulch
With a name like that, there has to be some fun bouldering around! Indeed, there are several good boulders conveniently located in and around the campround.

Look for other popular boulders just beyond the campsites on the lake side. The rocks extend toward the lake and on the rolling hills.
There are a few problems and a good 5.10 finger crack up the hill on the west side of the road.

How to find it
From Kernville, drive south to Wofford Heights and continue on the 155 toward Lake Isabella. After passing Sawmill Road, Boulder Gulch Campground is on the left at the bottom of the grade.
From the town of Lake Isabella, take Highway 155 around the west side of Lake Isabella for 4 miles to the campground entrance on the right.
